(Bloomberg) -- Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. removed jalapeños from multiple stores in Minnesota after learning the peppers may be linked to a salmonella outbreak in the state that's sickened 110 people. Most Read from BloombergThe chain removed the suspect jalapeños from all of its stores that received the product while assisting with a probe of the outbreak by Minnesota health officials, a spokesperson for the state's health department told Bloomberg News. The full scope of the salmonella outbreak is unclear. Because Chipotle pulled the peppers, the Minnesota health department is not concerned about the restaurant chain, the spokesperson said. "Chipotle has fully collaborated on every aspect of this investigation" including by providing records and taking steps to prevent further transmission, the Minnesota health department spokesperson said in a statement.
