A total of 10 closures of eastbound and westbound I-70 are planned at Exit 244 to U.S. Highway 6, for bridge construction as part of the $900 million Floyd Hill Project , the release states. Eastbound I-70 closures are planned today, Thursday, Friday, and Aug. 17 and 18. Westbound closures are planned Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Aug. 12 and Aug. 13. If the closure schedule is adjusted, the eastbound I-70 closures could occur on Monday and Tuesday, and the westbound I-70 closures could occur nightly from Aug. 16-20, according to the news release.
