Two men have been charged in connection with the violent robbery of a senior in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside last week.
Police say a 75-year-old man was approached by a group while walking in the neighbourhood.
Police said the first arrest was made on July 30 when officers on patrol spotted a man believed to be involved in the robbery.
Officers identified that person as a suspect in the robbery investigation and arrested him.
Vancouver police say 43-year-old Kurt Werner Steinhauser and 40-year-old Andre Joseph Brunet have been charged with one count of robbery.
