One Additional Guitarist Joins Dylan on Final Summer Tour DateBob Dylan closed out his U.S. summer tour on Saturday night in Nashville. Over the course of the 34 shows (the Raleigh gig was canceled due to weather), Dylan cycled in a variety of guitarists. The performance at the Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater featured Paterson and Lage along alongside Dylan, bassist Tony Garnier and drummer Anton Fig. He later returned as the three J’s (Julian Lage, Joel Paterson and Jimmie Vaughan) shared guitar duties on “Goodbye Jimmy Reed,” another Rough and Rowdy Ways track. Next up for Dylan is a European tour which opens in Norway on October 17.
