AdvertisementThe Registrar of Companies, Kolkata I, issued an adjudication order dated 30/07/2026 under Section 454 of the Companies Act, 2013 for violation of Rule 8(3) of the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014 read with Section 450 of the Companies Act, 2013. After issuing a show cause notice, the Registrar noted that the company admitted the incorrect filing and sought leniency. The order states that filing an incorrect statutory e-form attracts responsibility under Rule 8(3), and that seeking administrative rectification does not remove the contravention. In response the noticee(s) admitted the defect/incorrect filing and stated that the incorrect filing was inadvertent and requested a lenient view.
