RS Berkane has appointed Cape Verde coach Pedro Leitão Brito, known as Bubista, to lead its first team under a two-year contract, according to an announcement by the Moroccan club on Instagram. Berkane said Tuesday that the appointment supports its long-term sporting project and its ambitions in Moroccan and African competitions. The club also expects Bubista to develop its emerging young players and increase their role within the senior team. The 56-year-old coach joins Berkane after guiding Cape Verde through a historic 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign. Argentina then eliminated Cape Verde after extra time.
