The countdown to the 2026 MTN Elite U-19 Championship gathers momentum as the official draw for the tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association in Accra. The draw ceremony will bring together key stakeholders in Ghana football, including Chairman of the MTN Elite U-19 Championship Committee, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, members of the organising committee and officials of the Football Association, as the participating teams discover their group-stage opponents. It will also offer the GFA Technical Directorate, national youth team coaches and scouts an invaluable opportunity to identify and assess players for future national team assignments.
