In a new upload to our YouTube channel, we visit Whalley to see Locomotive Services Group’s Class 142 No. The Diesel Multiple Unit was on a test run between Crewe and Carlisle and back later the same day. The unit was early until the Blackburn area, where it seemingly was looped, which means that this video starts with an Avanti West Coast Evero passing through with a diverted service between Crewe and Carlisle due to the closure of the West Coast Main Line. Next up was a Northern Class 150 that was operating a service to Rochdale. Finally, the Class 142 was then due through, as it passed through in the sunshine, showing off its GMPTE Orange livery.
