Centre releases 5,699 crore for J&K rural development

The figures were provided by Union Minister of State for Rural Development Kamlesh Paswan in response to a question raised by Tariq Anwar.
The Union Territory received Rs 305.42 crore as Central share under the mission from 2023-24 till May 31, 2026.
Meanwhile, Ladakh recorded 1,125 houses sanctioned under PMAY-G, with Rs 18.90 crore released as Central assistance during the same period.
Under DAY-NRLM, the Union Territory formed 1,680 SHGs covering 11,274 households, with Rs 27.50 crore released as Central share.
Under MGNREGS, Ladakh generated 66.76 lakh persondays, created 31,118 assets and received Rs 235.10 crore in Central assistance.
