Srinagar, Aug 4: Mixed martial arts fighter Owais Yaqoob received a grand welcome in his hometown of Pulwama after securing a dominant victory at BRAVE CF 107, with hundreds of supporters gathering to celebrate his latest international success. Speaking after his return to Kashmir, Owais thanked his supporters and said the reception strengthened his resolve to work even harder. Owais said the encouragement he received from fans across the country meant more to him than the victory itself. Reflecting on the days leading up to the fight, Owais revealed that he overcame several setbacks. Owais also explained his decision to wear traditional Kashmiri attire, including the Karakul cap, during the face off.
