A driver police described as a "menace" joked about having 59 points on his licence as police caught him behind the wheel while already disqualified. When asked how he has been allowed to keep a licence whilst having so many points, he jokes that he is a "very good person." Ashmore appeared at court charged with three offences of driving while disqualified, three offences of driving without any insurance and one offence of driving while using a mobile phone. He pleaded guilty to all offences on 24 July and was sentenced to eight weeks' imprisonment suspended for 12 months. He was also disqualified for a further 12 months and must pay costs and a surcharge.
