Catcher Agustin Ramirez is heading back to the Marlins, reports Kevin Barral of FishOnFirst. He was optioned to Triple-A, but takes over one of the Marlins’ openings on the 40-man roster. Ramirez entered the 2026 season as an everyday player, splitting his time between catcher and DH. It remains to be seen whether Miami will use Ramirez as a catcher moving forward. The Marlins traded Lake Bachar to the Pirates and brought in Victor Vodnik in a deal with the Rockies.
