The Lee Board of County Commissioners continued its support of the Conservation 20/20 program today with votes to approve the purchase of four parcels, including three parcels on Pine Island and an infill parcel bordered by the Orange River Preserve east of Interstate 75 on Palm Beach Boulevard. The board voted to approve:• A purchase agreement for two contiguous Conservation 20/20 parcels, one of 27.9 acres and one of 28.13 acres, at 9901 Stringfellow Road, St. James City. • A purchase agreement for about 3.5 acres at 10301 Palm Beach Boulevard east of Fort Myers for $495,000. CLASAC recommended approving the purchase agreement for this Tier 1 parcel by unanimous vote. Any purchase agreement for acquisition will be returned to the Board for future consideration.
