FARGO, N.D. – District 44 Democrats have made their choice to replace Fargo Mayor Josh Boschee in the North Dakota State Senate ahead of a special session next month called by Governor Kelly Armstrong. Jamie Selzler was appointed by the District’s Executive Committee to serve the remainder of Boschee’s term. Selzler has over 25 years of leadership experience across multiple businesses, managing teams ranging from five or ten people to organizations of several thousand. In addition, he has been active in Democratic politics in North Dakota and nationally for more than two decades, including working as executive director of the North Dakota Dem-NPL from 2007-2008. Selzler has served as North Dakota’s Democratic National Committeeman for the past three years.
