To secure Soriano, Toronto parted with one of the top prospects in its farm system. Nimmala, a first-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, had developed into the club’s highest-rated prospect while advancing to Double-A. The return gives the Angels three young players as they continue reshaping their organization around future talent.
