Iowans along the highway will have a chance to buy and sell their wares this weekend, but those who want their listings public are advised to register soon. The 24th annual Highway 141 Garage Sale takes place on Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8. Participating towns have until the end of the day Wednesday, Aug. 5, to submit their registered sales. The Highway 141 Garage Sale, spanning 177 miles across Iowa, has taken place on the first weekend of August every year since 2003. Registration is not strictly required for participation, but it allows shoppers to view your wares and address online.
