After a fascinating trip to a vintage tearoom in Stratford-upon-Avon, 1945's Cream Tea Company owners Andy and Alison Hodgson were inspired. The couple have spent months planning their own 1940s-themed eatery, which will open in Rosemary Road on August 22. With authentic memorabilia and photos of Clacton residents' family members of the time, the café is shaping up to be like walking into a vintage photograph.
