LaDonna R. Thompson, 75, of rural Burket, passed on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Paddock Springs Health Campus, Warsaw. LaDonna was born on Aug. 27, 1950, in Peru, Ind., to the late Ray and Margie (Burnworth) Meyer. On July 16, 1999, in rural Claypool, she married Billy J. Thompson, who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2023. LaDonna worked for WRSW for 47 years, retiring in 2021. LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy; in-laws, Earl and Ruby Thompson; and brother-in-law, Duane Thompson.
