According to the lawsuit, Mayo Clinic allegedly retaliated against Eto after she raised privacy and compliance concerns with multiple artificial intelligence research projects.
"Mayo expressly denies that Eto’s allegations are true or that they give rise to liability," Mayo Clinic said in a memorandum supporting its motion to dismiss.
The lawsuit states that Mayo Clinic terminated Eto's employment in December 2025, while she was on leave.
Mayo Clinic does not tolerate retaliation or discrimination in any form.
Due to pending litigation, Mayo Clinic will not comment further at this time."
