ROCHESTER — With a $1.5 million, dollar-for-dollar matching gift from the Harper Family Foundation, Rochester's Ronald McDonald House is raising funds to build out a new commercial kitchen. ADVERTISEMENTThe More Than a Meal campaign will fund a renovation of the house's dining room and kitchen, expanding its footprint. Mueller said the house's existing kitchen was designed to accommodate four meals a week for 42 families. Once a month, Lotus Health Foundation President Mei Liu and her team of volunteers prepare and serve a meal at the house. Liu said she welcomes the idea of more fridge and freezer space in the house's kitchen.
