The town of Holly Pond may soon be considering revisions to its business license ordinance to better accommodate mobile vendors participating in local events.
Mayor Carla Hart introduced the idea of implementing a temporary, single-day option to the town’s business license ordinance during a council meeting on Monday, July 3.
The current cost to obtain a business license in the town of Holly Pond is $45 with an additional $10 issuance fee.
After considering Hart’s recommendation, councilmember Dwight Kidd proposed setting a single-day fee at $15 and maintaining the current issuance fee.
