Female artists have now held every spot in the top five of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for a record seventh consecutive week, marking the longest such run since the ranking began tracking sweeps in 1980.
The milestone, reflected on the Aug. 1-dated chart, combines streaming, sales, and radio airplay data rather than radio performance alone, distinguishing it from the genre's traditionally airplay-driven history.
"Choosin' Texas" continues its historic run, spending its 33rd week at the top of Hot Country Songs while simultaneously leading the all-genre Hot 100 for a 15th week.
The chart has used a multimetric formula incorporating streaming, sales, and airplay since 2012, a shift that has reshaped how dominance is measured compared with earlier, radio-centric eras.
"There's so many talented women coming up right now," Langley told Billboard earlier this year, ahead of her receiving the Women in Music Powerhouse award at Billboard's Women in Music 2026 celebration in April.
