DigiPlus Interactive Corp. more than doubled its second-quarter (Q2) net income to P6.98 billion after booking fair value gains from its investment in International Entertainment Corp. (IEC) convertible notes.
Monthly average bettors and depositors rose 26% quarter on quarter to 4.68 million, while aggregate monthly active users (MAU) averaged 5.75 million across DigiPlus’ digital gaming platforms, including BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone.
Meanwhile, net gaming revenue (NGR) after tax increased 0.9% quarter on quarter to P5.52 billion.
Mr. Chen said the company is evolving into a Gaming-as-a-Service ecosystem supported by proprietary content, data-driven personalization, and continuous product innovation.
“The growing user base, improved cohort, as well as higher returns on capital will contribute to significantly higher GGR and NGR, as well as significantly higher profitability in the next quarters to come,” he said.
