Water has been flowing along Corinthian Close for more than 11 days, according to Julian King, 62, who lives nearby and passes the leak on his daily walk. He said South East Water told him it had other priorities after he reported the leak. South East Water has imposed a hosepipe ban in Basingstoke and urged customers to cut non-essential use. He said in the past issues with South East Water have been sorted out relatively quickly, within a week, but they are still waiting. A spokesperson from South East Water said: "We are aware of a leak on Corinthian Close in Basingstoke and we’re planning to carry out repairs tomorrow (Tuesday 4 August).
