The United States has used nearly all of its stockpile of long-range precision missiles during its five-month war against Iran, Reuters reported on Monday, citing multiple sources familiar with the data. The weapons include the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) and the newer Precision Strike Missile (PrSM), surface-to-surface weapons designed to strike long-range targets with high precision. Two of the sources told Reuters the U.S. has used “virtually all” of those missiles during the conflict. The reported drawdown has raised concerns within the Trump administration about the military’s ability to respond to other potential crises, particularly involving China or Russia, where long-range precision weapons are considered critical. Another said U.S. Central Command had nearly exhausted its regional stockpile but replenished supplies by transferring missiles from other military commands around the world.
