One prominent NBA insider pushed back on two recent rumors surrounding the Portland Trail Blazers. The Stein Line's Marc Stein reported Monday the Blazers are "not currently pursuing free agent swingman DeMar DeRozan." Stein also said Portland has no plans to buy out veteran guard Jrue Holiday. Portland lessens its salary cap burden, while Holiday eventually lands with a team that's closer to a championship. The Blazers may instead see a role for the 36-year-old when Lillard is coming off a torn Achilles.
