On top of that, Deadline has it that Disney have lasered-in on Heartstopper heartthrob Kit Connor for the super-group's de facto leader, Scott Summers, aka Cyclops. It's the latest update we've had as Marvel gears up for their post-Secret Wars mutant era, with Thunderbolts* director Jake Schreier leading the charge with an X-Men reboot that is rumoured to release in 2028. Beyond Sink's Jean Grey, the cast is yet to be officially announced, though the flurry of recent casting reports would suggest that Marvel are close to finalising the MCU's X-Men.
