Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...POLK COUNTY—More than 70 children spent their summer learning, exploring and building friendships through the Polk County YMCA Summer Camp. Members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office also spoke with campers about safety. The Polk County YMCA thanked Polk County Schools for its partnership and for providing the facility where the camp was held. The camp concluded Friday, July 31, following a summer of activities and community connections. Organizers expressed appreciation to the families who participated and the many community partners who helped provide opportunities for local children.
