SRTC surgical technology graduates achieve 100% pass rate on national certification exam

Not Pictured: Karen Hernandez-BarradasTHOMASVILLE — Southern Regional Technical College’s Surgical Technology program graduates achieved a 100% passage rate on the Certified Surgical Technologist examination, administered through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
The students were honored at a pinning ceremony held July 23 in Moultrie, celebrating the culmination of their hard work and dedication to the field of surgical technology.
Coursework covers surgical procedures, aseptic technique, medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology, along with the interpersonal skills students need to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the professionals they’ve become, and I have no doubt they will make a lasting difference in every operating room they enter.”
