Frances Kadinoff died at home peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 31, 2026. She was born in October 1934 in Central Falls, R.I., and grew up in a French Canadian household. After attending nursing school at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester, Mass., Frances became a registered nurse. Her decision to go into nursing was practical: Her mother couldn’t afford to pay for her to go to college. Frances’ family will hold a private burial ceremony in the Berkshires on Monday, August 3.
