Jon Anderson, who most recently served as president of Pennsylvania Western University, has been appointed president of Utah Valley University, starting Aug. 10. Steven Bloomberg, chancellor of the Kern Community College District in California, has been named chancellor of Arizona’s Maricopa Community Colleges, a position he started July 1. S. Terri Gomez, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, has been named president of California State University, San Bernardino, effective Aug. 2. Chuck Lloyd, vice chancellor of the Community College system of New Hampshire, has been selected chancellor of the system, effective Aug. 24. Neil Terry, executive vice president and provost of West Texas A&M University, has been named the institution's interim president, effective Sept. 1.
