Yesterday I gave you a little history about Washington Dulles International Airport, so you could see why modernization is so important. Modernizing an airport is extremely hard, but this new plan announced by President Trump makes it sound easy. It’s a bad plan that’s going to cost far more than they say, and it’s not going to get done as proposed, if it gets done at all. In the press conference, President Trump said that the original plan was to build this over 60 years. Without Congress deciding to pour a bunch of money in, airports in the US have a funding problem.
