Picture suppliedAn influential repeat buyer from southern Queensland secured the top-priced bull during the annual Swanbrook Angus sale held at Long Flat, near Inverell, on August 1.
Creagh Cattle Company, Meandarra, purchased Swanbrook V115, a late August 2024-born bull sired by Sterling Pacific 904, a Hoover No Doubt son out of a Baldridge female.
"They are extremely quiet to handle in both the yards and paddock, and Creagh Cattle Company has built a great reputation for cattle that perform on both grain and grass."
The sale was conducted by Colin Say and Company, Glen Innes, with Shad Bailey on the gavel and online interface provided by AuctionsPlus.
