Happy Valley baseball: A tradition built by coaches, players and pride

PetersFor nearly a century, Happy Valley High School baseball has been a source of pride for Warrior fans. The roots of Happy Valley baseball stretch back to the 1930s, when John Treadway served as one of the school’s first baseball coaches. Bayless would become one of the foundation builders of Happy Valley baseball during the 1950s and early 1960s. Before becoming one of Tennessee’s finest high school baseball coaches, Hyder starred as a player at Elizabethton High School. Another familiar name soon emerged in Happy Valley baseball.
