Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is seeking public input as it finalizes a statewide Black Bass Management Plan designed to guide the future of bass fishing management across Tennessee. The plan builds on previous management efforts and was developed jointly by TWRA and a stakeholder advisory committee made up of citizen volunteers representing a cross-section of bass fishing interests. It establishes management goals, objectives and strategies intended to address long-term challenges while providing quality bass fishing opportunities throughout the state. According to TWRA, the plan is intended to provide broad guidance for the agency and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission in managing black bass fisheries. For more information or to review the proposed management plan, visit the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency website or contact Vic DiCenzo at vic.dicenzo@tn.gov.
