Middledale Foods plans to invest £600K into the business over the next three years as it looks to expand. Middledale Foods told Food Manufacture that the aim is to enhance visibility across customer, product and supply chain activity, strengthen account management capabilities, and improve operational efficiency and customer service. The plans will open up a number of new roles across the business, including customer service, marketing, sales and business development. Headquartered in Chirk, North Wales, Middledale Foods is also anticipating the expansion of its HQ as part of this long-term growth strategy, with “a number of options currently under consideration”. Middledale Foods is now targeting turnover of £52m and EBIT of £1.5m by FY28.
