The free public showing of The People’s Emergency Briefing will take place at Nailsea Tithe Barn in Nailsea on Tuesday, September 1, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The documentary has its roots in the National Emergency Briefing held in November 2025 at Westminster Central Hall, where more than 1,200 MPs, peers and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and media gathered to examine the UK’s exposure to climate and nature risks.
This event has since been adapted into a 50-minute public film, The People’s Emergency Briefing, which launched nationwide in April and is now being screened in communities across the country.
Mr Packham said: "I’d encourage people everywhere to attend a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing.
The screening in Nailsea comes amid growing concerns about housing developments on flood-prone land, infrastructure capacity, and biodiversity loss.
