The City of Lewiston is notifying the public of an upcoming daytime lane closure on Snake River Avenue as part of the Snake River Avenue Reconstruction Project. Beginning Monday, August 10, through Wednesday, August 12, the northbound lane of Snake River Avenue will be closed between the Southway Avenue roundabout and the Rotary Peace Park signalized crossing from 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m each day. These daytime lane closures will occur in conjunction with the previously announced nighttime closures. Nighttime work will continue from 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., during which Snake River Avenue will be fully closed between Southway Avenue and 11th Avenue. The nighttime closures are anticipated to conclude at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, until future night work phases are initiated with additional notification.
