Montreal police are turning to the public for help in identifying a suspect in an alleged attempted murder in Rivière-des-Prairies earlier this spring. Police arrived on scene to find a 49-year-old man with injuries to his upper and lower body. “The circumstances surrounding this armed assault remain unknown at this time,” the SPVM said in a news release Tuesday. Authorities are sharing photos of a suspect who is about six-foot-one to six-foot-five, with black hair styled in dreadlocks reaching his shoulders. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white shoes.
