Antonio Susca, 41, was stopped by officers in Newchurch Road, Bacup, on December 14 last year and gave a reading of 81 micrograms in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg.
Susca, of Mersey Street, Bacup, was also disqualified from driving at the time and did not have insurance or a licence.
He pleaded guilty to those offences, as well as driving without due care and attention, at a hearing in June.
At Burnley Magistrates' Court on Thursday (July 30), he was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months.
He must complete 15 rehabilitation days.
