The incident occurred at the 34 Battalion CRPF camp at Katimari, triggering panic within the high-security premises. Police said Premabaram allegedly first fired at Head Constable (HV/GD) Vishnu Prasad Baghel, who sustained fatal injuries and died at the spot. He then allegedly shot SI/GD Ramnawal Singh Yadav, who had reportedly arrived at the camp for official document verification. Following the shooting, Premabaram allegedly entered the barracks of the 171 Battalion and shot himself with the same weapon. He died on the spot, officials said.
