Hundreds gathered at the Gibfield Preservation Group’s stall during the recent Howfen Wakes event in Westhoughton, raising concerns about proposals to build industrial and warehouse units near homes.

"Hundreds of people came to speak to us throughout the day, and it was clear that there is significant concern about the future of Gibfield.
