Concerns have been raised about the poor condition of Lower Darcy Street, Darcy Lever, an unadopted road in Bolton, which residents say is plagued by numerous deep potholes and regularly experiences flooding.
Kirith Entwistle, MP for Bolton North East, recently met with community champion Deborah Smethurst, who has been leading a petition urging Bolton Council to take action.
Ms Entwistle said: "The condition of Lower Darcy Street is simply unacceptable.
The road connects Higher Darcy Street, Clayton Avenue, Clayton Street, and Leaf Street to the wider highway network.
Ms Entwistle said: "The people who live on Clayton Avenue, Clayton Street and Leaf Street deserve safe, reliable access to their homes, and I will continue fighting to ensure their voices are heard."
