SRINAGAR: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for admission to its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning (OL) programmes for the July 2026 academic session till August 16. According to an official statement, the extension has been granted following requests from students across the country, allowing prospective learners additional time to complete the admission process. The extended deadline applies to nearly 300 academic programmes offered through the ODL and Online modes. He said August 16 will be the final date for admissions under the July 2026 academic session and urged eligible candidates to complete the admission process before the deadline. He advised learners to complete the re-registration process well in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
