Train operator ScotRail has revealed that it has achieved a new record for passenger journeys in a single week. More than 2.1 million trips were taken in the week from Sunday 26 July to Saturday 1 August inclusive. More people than before chose ScotRail services to travel to and from events, as well as to travel for business, retail and leisure.
