The Malta International Food Festival returns to the Pits to celebrate its 10th edition

The Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Supply is supporting the return of the Malta International Food Festival, which will be held between Wednesday 5 and Sunday 9 August 2026 at the Fosos tal-Floriana.
This year, the festival is celebrating its 10th edition with a bigger and more varied programme, bringing together the best flavours from around the world in a celebration of food, culture and entertainment.
During the five days of the festival, the public will have the opportunity to taste over 1,000 different dishes from 42 international cuisines.
At the same time, a prominent space will be given to Maltese cuisine and local products, with the aim of further promoting the quality, authenticity and value of Maltese produce.
“The Malta International Food Festival is an important platform that not only celebrates the cuisines of the world, but also gives space and visibility to our local products.
