In total, workers from the Tourist Areas Regeneration Agency worked on 19 beaches throughout Malta, where various interventions were carried out to increase the level of comfort, safety and accessibility for all those visiting these areas during the summer season. “Beaches are among the most used public spaces during the summer and therefore it is our duty to continue investing in them. The Minister also appealed to the public to do their part to keep the beaches clean, while recalling the campaign ‘Xummiemu m’djaja vacanze. The Chief Executive of the Tourist Areas Regeneration Agency, Dennis Vella, explained that the interventions were carried out following planning and coordination work so that the facilities would be ready for use during the summer season.
