The polls are open until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026 for registered voters across Missouri to cast their ballots in this year’s primary election. Pettis County has hotly contested races for both state senate and state house. The winner will go up against Democrat Rene Vance to represent the 52nd House District. Pettis County also has contested races for Circuit Clerk and County Clerk that will be decided in the Republican primary. The City of Blackburn is also seeking a $0.29 property tax levy increase for the next four years for general purposes.
