Grand champions from the Keokuk and Iowa County fairs competed in regional competition at the “Best of the Best” show last Saturday in Marengo. Participating counties included Keokuk, Iowa, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jones, Linn, Poweshiek, Scott & Tama counties. Clayton Gorsch also represented Iowa County. Winners for Keokuk County included Colt Reed, reserve champion in breeding gilt, and Izzy Heisdorffer, reserve champion in breeding ewe. Also competing for Keokuk County were Addy Tremmel, Madison Fry, and Lane Cason.
