Hunter08/04/26A report of reckless driving has led to multiple charges against at Texas man. According to the police report, dispatch received a call reporting that a pickup truck with Texas plates was unable to maintain its lane and speed. A Johnson County deputy conducted a traffic stop on the driver, identified as 24-year-old Joel Resendez of League, Texas. Resendez allegedly had bloodshot watery eyes, unsteady balance, and told the deputy he believed he was in Texas. A post-arrest search of Resendez’ vehicle reportedly turned up a Taurus 9mm handgun with a magazine containing 12 live rounds in the center console, within his reach.
